Silverstone Scholarship 07

   The day started with 4 lap assessment in 3 different Lotus Exiges, a Porsche 993 and a supercharged Exige S. After this the drivers took to the south circuit in Formula Ford’s with the aim to be the fastest and most consistent.

   After a short lunch break the drivers then had 4 laps in a rally car to demonstrate there ability to adapt quickly followed by another four laps in a skid Caterham around a circuit of cones.

   The final allocation of points was for the fastest lap times in a F1 style (out – fast – in) one lap shootout in the Formula Fords followed immediately by a single lap in a Superlight Caterham, all on the south circuit.

   Afterwards the results were totalled and only the winner was read out, unfortunately for Mark it wasn’t to be him.
